Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BombaDuel ("the App"), a real-time 1v1 minesweeper flags duel published by IOCODO LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. The Service

BombaDuel pairs you with a random opponent for a real-time duel in which you compete to claim more mines on a shared board across three board sizes (Classic, Large, Huge). Online ranked play, matchmaking, and the global leaderboard require an internet connection and sign-in. A practice mode against a computer opponent is also available. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Eligibility

The App is rated 4+ / PEGI 3 and is family-friendly, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you are under the age of majority in your country, use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts

You can play as an anonymous guest or sign in with email and password. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You choose a public display name; it is visible to opponents and on the leaderboard and must comply with Section 5. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

5. Fair Play and Acceptable Use

To keep the game fair for everyone, you agree not to:

• Cheat, use bots or automation, exploit bugs, or manipulate match, rating, or leaderboard data;
• Choose a display name that is offensive, hateful, deceptive, or impersonates another person or brand;
• Harass, abuse, or disrupt other players;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where local law expressly permits, or use the App in a way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

We may reset ratings, remove or rename leaderboard entries, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, to protect the integrity of the game.

6. Online Play, Ratings and Leaderboard

Ratings (ELO), win/loss records, and leaderboard standings are provided for entertainment and may be recalculated, reset, or removed at our discretion to preserve fairness or correct errors. During a duel your opponent can see your display name and your moves in real time, as described in the Privacy Policy. Online features depend on your connection and on third-party services and may occasionally be unavailable.

7. Price, Advertising and Purchases

The App is free to download and play, and this release ships ad-free with no in-app purchases. If a future release introduces ads, paid features, or purchases, that change will be disclosed inside the App and/or in updated Terms before it applies to you. Any purchases you make through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to that store's terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, art, audio, and design, is owned by IOCODO LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or to its online features if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that harms other players or the service. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within the App or by emailing us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, or that matchmaking will always find an opponent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IOCODO LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including loss of progress, loss of data, or device issues. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IOCODO LLC is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights prevail.
