In brief: MateMatty does not require an account. The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs and understand which features are used: device model, OS version, app version, country, in-app events, and crash reports. We do not sell your personal data or share it with data brokers or advertisers.
1. General Information
MateMatty - Math Adventure ("the App") is an educational math game for children aged 6 to 12, developed and published by IOCODO LLC ("we", "our", "us").
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App. The App is designed with respect for the privacy of children and their families.
2. Data Collected
The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to fix bugs and understand which features are used. This includes device model, OS version, app version, language, country, in-app events, a random app-instance identifier, and crash reports (stack traces and diagnostic data when the App encounters an error). Google LLC acts as the data processor for these services; see Google's Privacy Policy for details.
The App does not require registration or login. No account is needed to use any feature. Beyond the analytics described above, the App does not:
- Collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying information
- Collect precise location data
- Use any advertising SDK or share an advertising identifier
- Sell your personal data or share it with data brokers or advertisers
Ad-personalization signals are off on both platforms, IDFV collection is off on iOS, and the AD_ID permission is removed on Android.
3. Locally Stored Data
The App saves game progress (completed levels, scores, chosen character, profile name) exclusively in the device's local storage via SharedPreferences. This data:
- Is never transmitted outside the device
- Is not accessible to us or any third parties
- Is automatically deleted when the App is uninstalled
The profile name chosen by the player is used only for display within the App and is not shared in any way.
4. In-App Purchases
The App offers premium subscriptions ("MateMatty Premium") managed entirely through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Payments and associated data (payment method, billing) are handled exclusively by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies:

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA and GDPR-K)
The App is designed for use by children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and European regulations on the protection of minors' data (GDPR, Art. 8).
The analytics and crash data described in Section 2 are collected only to fix bugs and understand which features are used. They are not used for advertising, are not linked to an advertising identifier, and are not sold or shared with data brokers or advertisers. In-app purchases and any link that leads outside the App are protected by a Parental Gate (a math problem that only an adult can solve), so a child cannot make a purchase or leave the App unsupervised.
6. Monetization and Advertising
We do not sell your personal data. Any future change to how MateMatty is monetized, including the addition of advertising, would be described in an update to this policy.
7. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the App, specifically through the Firebase and Google services described in Section 2, or as required by law.
8. Security
Your saved game progress and preferences remain on your device and are never transmitted to our servers (we have none). Anonymous usage and crash data collected via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics follow Google's security practices described in Section 2.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. In the event of material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We recommend checking this page periodically.
