In brief: by using MateMatty you accept these terms. The app is offered free of charge with an optional Premium subscription managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases are protected by a Parental Gate. The app is provided "as-is". Governing law: Italian law.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application MateMatty - Math Adventure ("the App"), published by IOCODO LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you fully accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
2. Minimum Age and Parental Supervision
The App is designed for children aged 6 to 12. Use by minors requires the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. All in-app purchases are protected by a Parental Gate (verification by a complex math problem) to prevent unauthorized purchases by minors.
The parent or guardian is responsible for the minor's use of the App and for accepting these Terms on their behalf.
3. License Grant
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, exclusively for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
- Distribute, sell, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties
- Remove copyright notices or other proprietary marks
4. Premium Subscription
The App offers a MateMatty Premium subscription with two plans:
- Monthly (auto-renewing)
- Yearly (auto-renewing)
Prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase and depend on your country and local currency. Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To cancel auto-renewal, you must act directly in your App Store / Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's policies. We do not handle refunds directly.
5. App Content
The App provides educational content (lessons, math problems, mini-games) procedurally generated or curated by us. Content is provided "as-is" for educational and recreational purposes, with no warranty of completeness or alignment with specific school curricula.
6. Privacy
The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs and understand which features are used. Gameplay data such as progress and scores is stored on the user's device. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights to the graphics, audio, code, trademarks, characters, and content of the App belong to IOCODO LLC or its respective licensors. You acquire no ownership rights in the App or its content other than the license described in Section 3.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, IOCODO LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the App, including, without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
IOCODO LLC's aggregate liability, for any cause, is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the App in the 12 months preceding the event.
10. Changes to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms periodically; for material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where applicable, notify changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App in case of breach of these Terms. You may cease use at any time by uninstalling the App. Sections 7, 8, 9, 12, and 13 survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, the court of the consumer's residence has exclusive jurisdiction, pursuant to Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code.
