BuckBack By IOCODO

U.S. class actions

See if you fit an open class action settlement.

BuckBack lists open U.S. class action settlements. For each one, you answer a few yes or no questions based on the court notice and get a verdict with the reasons behind it. The deadline and the official claim form are on the same page.

How it works

Not legal advice. BuckBack never files a claim for you.

The BuckBack page of an example settlement: the case, the filing deadline, what happened, who can claim in the notice's words, and links to the claim form and the court notice.
A Likely eligible verdict stamped on an example settlement, with the three answers that matched, the filing deadline, and a button that opens the official form.

Four steps

How it works

The last step happens on the official site, where you file yourself.

  1. Pick a settlement

Every open settlement in the list comes from its official website or the court notice, and shows the date it was last checked.

  2. Answer a few questions

They are yes or no, and each one is based on the court notice. Your answers stay on your device.

  3. Read the verdict

Likely eligible, Maybe or Not eligible, with the reasons that led there.

  4. File on the official site

The official claim form opens in Safari, and you file there yourself. Filing on the official site costs nothing.

A Maybe verdict on an example settlement: one answer matches, one date is uncertain, and the screen explains how to check it before filing.

The verdict

A verdict that shows its reasons

Every question maps to one clause of the class definition, and BuckBack quotes that clause in the notice's own words.

The verdict then shows which of your answers led to it, so nothing rests on a summary.

Only the settlement administrator decides who gets paid.

Likely eligible

Based on your answers, you appear to fit the class the notice describes.

Maybe

One detail needs a second look, and the verdict names it.

Not eligible

An answer falls outside the class, and you can see which one.

Reminders

A reminder before it closes

Save a settlement and BuckBack can remind you a week before the deadline, then again the day before.

Reminders are optional. Your device's operating system holds them, and you can turn them off in the app's settings.

What to expect

The fine print, up front

What BuckBack does with your answers, and what it leaves to the official site.

  • No account. There is no sign-in, and BuckBack never asks for your name, email address, phone number, bank details or Social Security number.
  • No promised amounts. A dollar amount appears only when the notice states one per person. BuckBack shows it after the words The notice says and adds that the final amount depends on how many people file.
  • You file, not BuckBack. BuckBack never files a claim for you and never fills a claim form. Filing on the official site costs nothing.
  • Official sources, dated. Every entry comes from the official settlement website or the court notice, and shows the date it was last checked.
  • Your answers stay with you. Saved settlements, eligibility answers and I filed marks are stored on your device and never sent to us.
  • Not legal advice. BuckBack is not affiliated with any court, company, law firm, government agency or settlement administrator. Only the administrator decides who gets paid. Claims are signed under penalty of perjury, so only file if your answers are true.

Questions

Questions people ask first

Does BuckBack file the claim for me?

No. BuckBack opens the official claim form in Safari, and you file there yourself. It never fills the form or files on your behalf, and filing on the official site costs nothing.

Is BuckBack legal advice?

No. BuckBack is not legal advice, and it is not affiliated with any court, company, law firm, government agency or settlement administrator.

How does BuckBack decide the verdict?

Every question maps to a clause of the class definition, quoted in the notice's own words. The verdict shows which answers led to it. Only the settlement administrator decides who gets paid.

Will BuckBack tell me how much I will get?

No. When a notice states a per-person amount, BuckBack shows it after the words The notice says and adds that the final amount depends on how many people file. When a notice states none, BuckBack shows none.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account and no sign-in. Your saved settlements, answers and reminders stay on your device.
