A person reads every email. We usually answer within two working days.
Contact us
Write to support@iocodo.com for a bug, a question or an idea. It helps if you tell us your phone model, its system version, the app version (at the bottom of Settings) and what happened.
Criminal or illegal content. To report content in Gustamo that you believe is criminal or illegal, email support@iocodo.com and tell us where you saw it, for example the household or the recipe. We confirm that we received your report and tell you what we decided.
Adding recipes
From a website
Copy the address of the recipe page, open Gustamo and tap Add a recipe, then Paste a link. Gustamo opens the page on your phone, finds the ingredients, the steps and the times, and shows them to you before saving. Check them once, then save.
Most recipe websites publish each recipe in a standard format, so the import is usually complete. If a page cannot be read, for example because it asks you to log in, paste the recipe text or take a screenshot instead.
With the share button
On iPhone, open the recipe in Safari, tap Share and choose Gustamo. Other browsers and apps, on iPhone and Android, work the same way: tap Share and pick Gustamo. On iPhone, if Gustamo is not in the row of apps, scroll it to the end and tap More.
From a photo or a screenshot
Tap Add a recipe, then Photo or screenshot, and take a picture of a cookbook page or a recipe card, or choose a screenshot. Gustamo reads the text on your phone and splits it into ingredients and steps for you to check. Good light and a flat page give the best result.
For a recipe in an Instagram or TikTok post, take a screenshot of the caption. If the caption links to a recipe page, share that link instead.
A note on safety
Gustamo takes recipes as they are written. Check each recipe for allergens and for safe cooking (temperatures, times and storage) before you rely on it, and check the grocery list against your recipes before you shop.
Your household
Inviting the people you live with
On the grocery list, open Shop together and tap Send an invite link, or read out the code shown there. The other person installs Gustamo and opens the link, or types the code. Everyone you invite sees the same week and the same list, and a tick in the store shows up on every phone.
Invite codes stop working after a while. If one has expired, send a new one.
Leaving a household
Open Settings, then Household, to see who is in it or to leave it.
Using Gustamo offline
Your recipes, your week and your list are kept on your phone, so the list works in a store with no signal. Ticks and changes you make offline are sent when you are back online, and then they appear on the other phones in your household. The screen can stay on while you shop: turn on Keep screen on in the store in Settings.
Export your recipes
Go to Settings, then Your data, and choose Export. You get all your recipes, with their photos and the links they came from, in open formats that other recipe apps can read. Export is free, and you can do it as often as you like.
Delete your account
Go to Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. This deletes your account and the data stored with it on our servers, including what you added to a shared household. The other members keep what they added.
You can also write to support@iocodo.com with the subject "Delete my data". The full details, including what is kept and for how long, are on the account deletion page.
Privacy and terms
Usage statistics and crash reports are optional: change them in Settings, then Privacy choices. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy, and the rules for using the app are in the terms of use.
