How it works

Step 1
Paste a link, share a page from your browser, snap a cookbook page or write a family recipe by hand. Three sample recipes help if you have nothing at hand.

Step 2
Pick a dinner for each day you cook. Set how many people you feed and every recipe scales to match.

Step 3
Ingredients are added up across recipes and sorted the way a supermarket is laid out. Swap a dinner and the list tells you what came in and what went out.

Step 4
Invite the people you live with by link or code. Everyone sees the same week, and a tick in the store shows up on every phone.
Your recipes, from anywhere
Gustamo is not a catalogue of somebody else's food. It is a home for the dishes your family already likes.
Recipe websites. Most publish each recipe in a standard format that Gustamo reads from the link, with ingredients, steps and times.
Photos and screenshots. A cookbook page, a handwritten card or a caption from a social post. The text is read on your phone.
The share button. In Safari, Chrome and other apps, tap Share and pick Gustamo.

The list for the store
Quantities from different recipes are added up, so two dishes that each need tomatoes become one line. Each item says which recipe it is for.
Big rows you can tick with one thumb. Ticked items slide to the cart, and the screen can stay on while you shop.
Change a dinner, the list follows. The ingredients of the old recipe leave the list and you see what changed, with an undo.
Works without signal. The list is on your phone, and ticks reach the others when you are back online.
