What is BuckBack?
BuckBack lists open U.S. class action settlements. For each one, you answer a few yes or no questions based on the court notice and get a verdict with its reasons: Likely eligible, Maybe or Not eligible.
Each settlement shows its deadline and links to the official claim form. Save one and BuckBack can remind you before it closes.
How is the verdict decided?
Every question maps to a clause of the class definition, and the app quotes that clause in the notice's own words. The verdict then shows which of your answers led to it.
A verdict is not a decision about your claim. Only the settlement administrator decides who gets paid.
Is BuckBack legal advice?
No. BuckBack is not legal advice. It is not affiliated with any court, company, law firm, government agency or settlement administrator.
Does BuckBack file the claim for me?
No. BuckBack never files a claim for you and never fills a claim form. It opens the official claim form in Safari, and you file there yourself. Filing on the official site costs nothing.
Claims are signed under penalty of perjury, so only file if your answers are true.
Why is a settlement missing or closed?
BuckBack lists settlements that are open for claims, each taken from its official website or the court notice. Once a settlement's claim deadline has passed, it is closed and BuckBack no longer lists it as open.
If a settlement you know about is missing, write to us with its name.
How do reminders work, and how do I turn them off?
Save a settlement and BuckBack can remind you a week before its deadline, then again the day before. Reminders are optional, and your device's operating system holds them.
To stop them, turn reminders off in BuckBack's settings. You can also turn off BuckBack's notifications in your device's settings.
How do I report a wrong deadline or link?
Email hello@iocodo.com with the name of the settlement and what looks wrong. Each entry shows the date it was last checked against its official source.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account and no sign-in. BuckBack never asks for your name, email address, phone number, bank details or Social Security number.
What data does BuckBack keep?
Your saved settlements, answers, filed marks, confirmation numbers, reminders and settings stay on your device. The Privacy policy lists what the app sends to its service providers. None of it is linked to you as a person.
