Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 5, 2026
In brief: SoliDuel requires an account to play and stores your profile, game statistics, and match history on Firebase infrastructure operated by Google LLC. The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for usage insights and crash diagnostics, and may show ads through Google AdMob. We do not sell your personal data.
1. General Information
SoliDuel ("the App") is a real-time multiplayer solitaire card game developed and published by IOCODO LLC ("we", "our", "us"). Players compete head-to-head across the globe, play ranked matches, and climb the leaderboard.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you when you use the App.
2. Local Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores certain data locally on your device to support offline access, performance, and a consistent experience. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:
- Account information such as your display name and email address
- Game statistics including wins, losses, draws, and your current rating
- Match history and replays
- In-app preferences and settings
- Device identifiers and advertising ID (collected by Google AdMob)
- Crash reports and diagnostic data (collected by Firebase Crashlytics)
- Usage analytics and in-app events (collected by Firebase Analytics)
Some of this data is also synchronized with Firebase backend services operated by Google LLC, as described in the sections below.
3. Account and Authentication
SoliDuel requires you to create an account to access multiplayer features, ranked matches, and the leaderboard. Account creation and sign-in are handled through Firebase Authentication (Google LLC).
When you register or sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your credentials — which may include an email address and password, or identity tokens from Google Sign-In — to verify your identity and issue a secure session. We store a user profile associated with your account (display name and email address) in Firebase services.
You may also sign in using Google Sign-In, in which case Google LLC processes your Google account credentials under its own privacy terms.
4. Data Stored in Firebase Backend Services
SoliDuel uses several Firebase services operated by Google LLC to store and synchronize data required to run the game:
- Firebase Realtime Database — stores game state, match data, leaderboard entries, and player profiles in real time.
- Firebase Cloud Functions — runs server-side logic for matchmaking, ranking calculations, and other game operations. These functions may process your account identifiers and game data to perform their tasks.
- Firebase Remote Config — delivers configuration values that control app behavior, such as feature flags and game parameters. No personal data is required to fetch remote config values.
- Firebase App Check — verifies that requests to Firebase services originate from genuine SoliDuel app installations, helping protect against unauthorized access. App Check uses device attestation tokens; it does not collect personal information on our behalf.
Data stored in Firebase is subject to Google LLC's data processing terms and privacy policies.
5. Analytics and Crash Reporting
The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (both Google LLC) to help us understand how the App is used and to diagnose technical issues.
- Firebase Analytics collects usage events and app activity — such as screens viewed, features used, and session duration — along with device and advertising identifiers. This data is used in aggregate to improve the App.
- Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports and diagnostic data — including stack traces, device model, operating system version, and App version — when the App encounters an error. This helps us identify and fix bugs.
You can limit ad personalization and analytics data collection through your device's advertising and privacy settings.
6. Advertising
SoliDuel may display ads using Google AdMob (Google LLC). When ads are requested or displayed, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, and other ad-related signals to serve relevant ads, under their own privacy policies and your platform settings.
We do not control third-party ad processing. You can manage your advertising preferences through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
7. Network Requests and Third-Party Services
During normal operation, the App communicates with the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — account sign-in and session management
- Firebase Realtime Database (Google LLC) — live game data and player profiles
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — usage analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — crash and diagnostic reporting
- Firebase Remote Config (Google LLC) — app configuration
- Firebase App Check (Google LLC) — request integrity verification
- Firebase Cloud Functions (Google LLC) — server-side game logic
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) — advertising
- Google Sign-In (Google LLC) — optional social authentication
- Google Fonts (Google LLC) — font assets loaded at runtime
Important: Each third-party service listed above processes data under its own privacy policy. Please review those policies directly for provider-specific details on data handling, retention, and your rights.
8. Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required to operate the App — specifically, by transmitting data to Firebase and Google services as described in this policy — or as required by law.
Google LLC acts as a data processor for the Firebase and Google services used by the App and handles your data in accordance with its own terms and policies.
9. Your Choices
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@iocodo.com.
- You can manage advertising and tracking preferences through your device settings and your Google account.
- You can opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection on Android by enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your Google account settings; on iOS, you can limit ad tracking through the system privacy settings.
- You can remove locally stored App data by uninstalling the App, subject to any device backup behavior controlled by Apple or Google.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
