Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in?

You can play SoliDuel as a guest against the bot, or sign in with Google or Apple to play online matches, save your stats, add friends, and appear on the leaderboard.

Guest play is limited to bot games. Random matchmaking and friend duels require a signed-in account.

How does matchmaking work?

Tap Play Random from the lobby. Your status changes to "waiting" and you are added to the queue. As soon as another player is waiting, the server pairs you and the duel starts automatically.

If no opponent appears, you can leave the queue at any time and play against the bot instead.

I got disconnected during a match. What happens?

SoliDuel handles disconnects gracefully. If you leave or lose connection, the game finalizes the result based on the current points: the player with fewer points wins, ties are recorded as draws.

Bot games can be restarted from the end-of-game screen. Online matches do not resume — start a new one from the lobby.

How do friend requests work?

Open another player's profile (from the lobby or after a match) and tap the friend icon to send a request. They get a push notification and can accept or decline from the Friend Requests page in the menu.

Once accepted, friends appear in your friends list and you can see when they are online.

How is the leaderboard calculated?

The leaderboard tracks monthly performance across online matches. Wins, losses, and draws from bot games are saved to your personal stats but do not affect the leaderboard ranking.

The leaderboard resets each month so new players always have a chance to climb.

Why am I seeing ads?

SoliDuel shows ads from Google AdMob to support free play. You will be asked once for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency on iOS); your choice controls whether ads are personalized.

Declining tracking does not remove ads — it only switches them to non-personalized.

How do I delete my account?

From the app: open the menu, go to SettingsAccountDelete account. This removes your profile, stats, friends, and any pending matches from our servers.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you prefer, email support@iocodo.com and we will process it for you.

How do refunds work?

SoliDuel is a free download. If a future version introduces paid features, refunds are handled by the store you purchased through:

How do I report a bug or crash?

Email support@iocodo.com with:

  • Device model and OS version
  • App version (visible in Settings)
  • What you were doing when it happened
  • Whether it is reproducible

SoliDuel uses Firebase Crashlytics, so crashes are usually auto-reported, but a description from you helps a lot.
