Duamo by IOCODO LLC

Delete your Duamo account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. Deleting it cannot be undone.

In the app

  1. Open Duamo and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. If you signed in with Apple or Google, the app may ask you to sign in again first, to make sure it is you.

If you pay for Duamo Plus, deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it in your store's subscription settings (Apple, Google Play), otherwise billing continues.

By email

If you cannot open the app any more, write to support@iocodo.com with the subject "Delete my data". If you signed in with Apple or Google, write from that email address or tell us which one you used; if you did not, tell us the name your partner sees in the app. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We reply within one month and tell you when the deletion is done.

What is deleted

What your partner keeps

Your couple ends, and your partner sees that you left Duamo. Your partner keeps their own answers and messages: in their archive, your side of each day is empty.

What is kept, and for how long

Backups
Our provider, Google Firebase, removes deleted data from its backup systems within 180 days.
Usage statistics
Statistics already sent are not linked to your account and are deleted on their own: usage events after 2 months, and the identifiers linked to them up to 14 months after the app last sent statistics.
Crash reports
Deleted on their own after 90 days.
Sign-in records
Firebase Authentication keeps the IP addresses of sign-in requests for a few weeks.
Reports
If someone reported something you wrote and the report is still under review, or if a law requires us to keep reported content, we keep it only for that purpose and only as long as that requires.
Emails
If you wrote to us, we keep your emails and our replies as the record of our support, until you ask us to delete them.
Your phone
What the app keeps on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the app.

The privacy policy has the full list.

Other choices

Ending your pairing does not delete your account: see Support. To stop usage statistics or crash reports, turn them off in Settings, then Privacy choices.
